Fee FAQs

Is the fee refundable if I withdraw my admission?
As per AICTE / UGC refund policy, if a student withdraws before the last date of admission, tuition fee is refunded after deducting ₹1,000 as processing charges. After the last admission date, refund is as per institutional policy and applicable regulatory guidelines. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Is there any EMI or instalment facility for fee payment?
Yes, in special cases, MPI offers a two-instalment facility within a semester upon a written request and approval from the Accounts Office. The first instalment (50%) must be paid before semester commencement and the remaining 50% within 45 days.
Are hostel and food charges included in the fee?
No, hostel and mess charges are separate and not included in the academic fee. Hostel facilities may be available nearby. Please contact the institute's student support office for current hostel tie-up details.
How do I apply for a scholarship or fee waiver?
Scholarship applications are accepted within the first 30 days of joining. Students must submit their mark sheets, category certificates (if applicable), and a filled scholarship application form to the Academic Office. Government scholarships require registration on the National/State scholarship portals separately.
Will the fee increase in subsequent years?
Fee structure is fixed at the time of admission for the entire programme duration, unless a revision is mandated by AICTE or AKU. Any such revision will be communicated well in advance through official notice.
Is education loan assistance provided by the institute?
Yes. MPI assists students in obtaining education loans from banks like SBI, Bank of India, and Canara Bank. The institute issues a bonafide and fee certificate required for loan applications. Students may visit the Accounts Office for guidance.
What is the penalty for late fee payment?
A late fee fine of ₹100 per day is charged for delays beyond the notified due date. Prolonged non-payment may result in the student being barred from examinations as per institute rules.
